Novorésumé's resume templates are modern, eye-catching, and professional-looking. As a former recruiter, I would be impressed if a job seeker sent their resume in one of these formats.
The designs are interesting and attract the attention of the employer without being too distracting. Many resume templates can be hard to get right: they're too plain and simple, or too colorful and distracting, which could end up costing you the job. Novorésumé has struck a good balance with their resume templates, which I think will help you get more interviews.

Even for professionals with more than 5 years of experience, Novorésumé offers a variety of templates with different design options. What I love about this section is that the end result is still a professional, easy-to-read, and eye-catching design.
The common challenge I face in my work with ambitious professionals is the struggle to accumulate as many years of professional experience as possible. 2-3 pages. Not only the design, but also the content and structure of these templates on the Novorésumé website make writing a CV a fun and constructive experience.

What is a resume?
A resume, or resume for short, is a professional document that outlines your work history, education, and skills. The main purpose of a resume is to sell you as a candidate to potential employers.
When you apply, you will always be asked for a CV and motivation letter.
What is the difference between a CV and a CV?
If you ask a European, the answer is that both are (for most people) the same.
The term 'resume' is more popular in the US, while 'resume' is much more common in Europe.
However, in the US, a resume is sometimes referred to as an academic resume, much like a resume, but much more comprehensive.
While a resume is short (one or two pages maximum) and comprehensive (relevant experience only), an academic resume can be as many pages as you need and cover everything you've done in your career.
Now you are probably wondering, are these resume templates the same as resume templates or are they for academic resumes?
The answer is both: you can use our templates for both purposes! If you are looking for an academic resume, just add more pages. If you're looking for a traditional resume, stick to one page.

What should a resume contain?
The most common sections in a resume are the following:
Contact details: your contact details. This includes email, name, job title, and social profiles.
curriculum summary(ofresume target) – You can think of the resume summary as an introduction to your resume. It's a short paragraph (2-4 sentences) that goes on top of his resume and provides an overview of his professional background. Typically, these are job titles, years of experience, and one or two major achievements. A resume objective, on the other hand, is suitable for candidates with limited work experience, as it focuses more on intent to join the company and skills.
Work experience- Your professional career in reverse chronological order. Remember to start with the newest and end with the oldest.
possibilities- A short list of your main competencies. This includes both soft skills and hard skills.
If you want to add some personality to your resume, or are a recent grad with little work experience, feel free to add some of the optional sections as well:, volunteer experience and personal projects.
How long should a resume be?
The answer to that, of course, depends on what type of CV it is. If by CV you mean the same as a resume, then it should be 1 page, maximum 2 pages.
On the other hand, if you want to create an academic resume, you can have as many pages as you need!
What is the best resume template?
Spoiler alert: there is no such thing as the "best resume template." There is no such thing as the "best resume."
Everything related to resumes is very subjective. One recruiter will LOVE your creative resume template, another might think it's super cheesy.
So how do you choose the best resume template for the job you're applying for? Our general rule is:
Are you applying for a job with a company that values innovation and creativity? Choose a creative resume template.
Are you applying to a more conservative company? For example, a bank, a law firm, etc. Choose a more professional resume template.
Does the company you are applying to fall somewhere between the two types mentioned? Then choose a modern or simple resume template.

PDF Resume Templates vs. Word Resume Templates
At Novorésumé, all of our resume templates are in PDF format for various reasons. PDF looks much better on all devices and is much more secure than Word.
The only reason Word resume templates were standard a few years ago was that most applicant tracking systems (ATS) couldn't read PDF files.
This does NOT apply to 2023, and in general PDF is a much better format.
Are these resume templates free?
Yes and no.
All resume templates on Novorésumé are free to use.
